Rural Assistance Regulation 2024 (NSW)

1Name of regulation

This regulation is the Rural Assistance Regulation 2024.

2Commencement

This regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Note—

This regulation repeals and replaces the Rural Assistance Regulation 2016, which would otherwise be repealed on 1 September 2024 by the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989, section 10(2).

3Definition

In this regulation—

the Act means the Rural Assistance Act 1989.

Note—

The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this regulation.

4Oyster farming to be farming operation—the Act, s 3

For the Act, section 3(1), definition of farming operation, paragraph (b), oyster farming is prescribed for the definition.

5Particulars to be included in applications for assistance—the Act, s 15

For the Act, section 15(2)(c), the following particulars are prescribed—

• (a)

  particulars of the applicant’s full income,

• (b)

  particulars of the applicant’s full expenditure,

• (c)

  particulars of all of the applicant’s assets,

• (d)

  particulars of all of the applicant’s liabilities.

6Repeal and savings(1)

The Rural Assistance Regulation 2016 is repealed.

(2)

An act, matter or thing that, immediately before the repeal of the Rural Assistance Regulation 2016, had effect under that regulation continues to have effect under this regulation.
