Rural and Regional Adjustment Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2014 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Rural and Regional Adjustment Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2014 . 2 Commencement Sections 4 and 5 commence on 1 July 2014. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the RuralandRegionalAdjustmentRegulation 2011. 4 Insertion of new pt 4, div 4 Part 4— insert — Division 4 Transitional provision for Rural and Regional Adjustment Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2014 9 Saving of operation of provision of sch 1 for particular purpose (1) This section applies to an application for assistance under the scheme mentioned in schedule 1 if— (a) the application was made before the commencement; and (b) immediately before the commencement, the application had not been decided. (2) Section 10 of the schedule, as in force immediately before the commencement, continues to apply for deciding the application. (3) In this section— Page 2 2014 SL No. 92

Rural and Regional Adjustment Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2014 [s 5] commencement means commencement of this section. 5 Amendment of sch 1 (Primary Industry Productivity Enhancement Scheme) Schedule 1, section 10— omit, insert — 10 Deciding applications (1) Subject to subsection (2), the authority must consider, and decide to approve or refuse to approve, each application for assistance under the scheme.
