Rural and Regional Adjustment Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Rural and Regional Adjustment Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the RuralandRegionalAdjustmentRegulation 2000. 3 Amendment of s 216 (Objective of scheme) Section 216, after ‘2008’— insert— ‘and an agreement between the Commonwealth and the State of 22 February 2008’. 4 Amendment of s 218 (Definitions for pt 22) (1) Section 218, definitions closing day and prescribed disaster area — omit. (2) Section 218— insert— ‘ prescribed disaster area means an area— (a) defined by the appropriate Minister for the purpose of activating the natural disaster relief and recovery arrangements for communities affected by the flood event; and (b) described in a document held by the authority and available for inspection by members of the public.
