Rules of Wagering Amendment Rules 2014

Made by Racing and Wagering Western Australia with the approval of the Commission under section 120 of the Act.

1.             Citation

These rules are the Rules of Wagering Amendment Rules 2014.

2.             Commencement

These rules come into operation as follows —

(a) rules 1 and 2 — on the day on which these rules are

published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the rules — on the day after that day.

3.             Rules amended

These rules amend the Rules of Wagering 2005.

4.             Rule 43 amended

In rule 43(2)(b)(v) delete “more than $1 500 at a time before the

horses enter onto the track and more than $1 000 once the

horses have entered onto the track; and” and insert:

more than $1 000; and

Approved by the Gaming and Wagering Commission on 25 November

2014.
