Rules of Wagering Amendment Rules 2005

Made by RWWA, with the approval of the Commission, under section
120 of the Act.

1.             Citation

These rules are the Rules of Wagering Amendment Rules 2005.

2.             The rules amended

The amendments in these rules are to the Rules of
Wagering 2005*.

3.             Rule 18 amended

Rule 18(5) is repealed and the following rule is inserted
instead —

(5) Where a totalisator pool is conducted for a trifecta
wager and no wager placed in the totalisator pool is a
winning wager, RWWA is to —

(a)

deduct the prescribed commission from the sum of the wagers included in the totalisator pool; and

(b)

carry the remaining balance of that pool forward and add it to a totalisator pool conducted for a trifecta wager either on the same day or on a subsequent day.
