2 Rules of Casino Games Amendment Rules (No. 3) 1991 Short title 1. These rules may be cited as the Rules of Casino Games Amendment Rules (No. 3) 1991 . Amended rules 2. The Rules of Casino Games are amended as set out in these rules. Amendment of rule 1.1 (Short title) 3. Rule 1.1— after ‘ Games ’ , insert ‘ 1985 ’. Amendment of rule 80.1 4.(1) Rule 80.1(a)— omit ‘ (a) ’. (2) Rule 80.1(b)— omit ‘ (b) ’. (3) Rule 80.1(c)— omit ‘ (c) ’. (4) Rule 80.1(d)— omit ‘ (d) ’. (5) Rule 80.1(e)— omit ‘ (e) ’. (6) Rule 80.1(f)— omit ‘ (f) ’. (7) Rule 80.1(g)— omit ‘ (g) ’.

3 Rules of Casino Games Amendment Rules (No. 3) 1991 (8) Rule 80.1— insert— ‘ “Keno dollars” means chips capable of being used in the place of money for the making of wagers and the payment of winnings on a Keno self -service terminal or at a Keno Writer terminal; ‘ “Keno self-service terminal” means a player operated device capable of issuing Keno Tickets after the validation of a wager by a central Keno computer system; ’. Insertion of new Part 82A 5. After Part 82, insert — ‘Part 82A—Self-Service Wagers ‘82A.1 Despite Part 82, a player may make a wager in a game of Keno by depositing Australian currency or Keno Dollars or both in a Keno self- service terminal. ‘82A.2 Keno Dollars may be issued by a Keno self-service terminal or a Keno Writer, after validation by a central Keno computer system. ‘82A.3 It is the responsibility of the player to ensure that the Keno Ticket issued by the Keno self-service terminal or Keno Writer terminal corresponds with the details of the wager requested by the player. ‘82A.4 Keno Dollars may be redeemed for cash— (a) at a Keno Writer terminal within 28 days of the Keno day of issue; or (b) on presentation to the Casino Cashier after that day. ‘82A.5 Keno Dollars may only be used for Keno wagers within 28 days of the Keno day of issue. ’. Amendment of rule 83.4 6. Rule 83.4— renumber as 83.2.

After rule 83. 5— insert — ‘83.6 Nothing in this Part prevents winnings in Keno wagers being paid in Keno Dollars issued from a Keno self-service terminal or a Keno Writer terminal. ’. Amendment of rule 83.8 11. Rule 83.8— renumber as rule 83.7. Amendment of rule 90.3 12. Rule 90.3(12)— omit ‘Alternate’, insert ‘Alternative’.
