ROYAL NEW SOUTH WALES INSTITUTION FOR

DEAF AND BLIND CHILDREN (SALE OF

DARLINGTON LANDS) ACT.

Act No. 8, 1961.

An Act to authorise the sale of certain lands at

Darhngton vested in The Royal New South

Wales Institution for Deaf and Blind Children; to amend the Royal New South Wales Institution for Deaf and Blind Children Act, 1905-1957, in certain respects; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 14th March, 1961.]

"D E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

1.         This Act may be cited as the “Royal New South Wales sHort title.

(1) It shall be. and be deemed always to have been, lawful for The Royal New South Wales Institution for Deaf

(2) Any lands transferred pursuant to such sale shall vest in the purchaser free from all trusts affecting the lands

in the hands of the Institution.

(3) The proceeds of such sale shall be applied by the Institution after payment of costs, expenses and encumbrances, in the construction of buildings, works and improvements for the purposes of the Institution.

(4) The purchaser of the said land shall not be con­ cerned to see to the application of the purchase money in accordance with this section.
