THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the definition of “Australian candidate” and substituting the following definition:
“‘Australian candidate’ means a person who is a candidate for admission as a student at the College and who is an Australian citizen;”; and
(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the definition of “New Zealand candidate” and substituting the following definition:
“‘New Zealand candidate’ means a person who is a candidate for admission as a student at the College and who is resident in New Zealand;”.
“(1) A person may be accepted for admission as a student at the College if he is nominated for admission by the government of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and the Governor-General approves his admission as a student at the College.”.
