REGULATION
UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1945.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the Defence Act 1903-1945.

Amendment
of Royal Military College Regulations.
The
Second Schedule to the Royal Military College Regulations is repealed and the
following Schedule inserted in its stead:—
“The Second Schedule.
Regulation
5 (1) (d).
EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF COMMONWEALTH CANDIDATES FOR NORMAL ENTRY.
1. Subject to paragraph 3 of this Schedule, to be eligible for
selection acandidate must qualify at
a Public Examination in accordance with the following table. All subjects need
not necessarily be passed in one year.
2. The Selection Board may accept any other Public Examination of
equivalent standard to the examinations specified in the following table.
3. A candidate may be deemed by the Selection Board to be qualified,
in accordance with this Schedule if, having failed in one subject, he has, in
the opinion of the Board, passed at a sufficiently high standard in four
subjects.
