STATUTORY RULES.

1923. No. 172.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1918 to come into operation forthwith.

Regulations for the Royal Military College of Australia 1921.

Amendments.

A. Regulation 68 is amended by inserting after the words “The Entrance Examinations” the following words “for candidates under 19 years of age”.

B. Appendix V paragraph 4 is amended by inserting the following sentence “Questions will be set and answers marked by the Board of Studies.” after the sentence which reads —“Arrangements will be made by the Commandant of the Royal Military College for setting questions and marking answers.”

C. Regulation 8 sub-paragraph (iii) is amended by inserting after the word “persons” in line 4 the words “who served in the South African War 1899-1902 in an Australian Force or”.
