STATUTORY RULES.

1924. No. 132.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903–1918.

I, THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following regulations under the Defence Act 1903–1918 to come into operation forthwith.

Amendments.

Appendix IV. is amended by—

(a) Deleting the word “Botany” in sub-paragraph 3 of paragraph (ii) thereof and substituting the words “Geometrical Drawing”;

(b) Deleting in sub-paragraph 4 of paragraph (ii) thereof the words “five”, “sixth” and “six” and substituting the words “four” “fifth” and “five” respectively.

Appendix V. is amended by—

(a)inserting in the table contained in sub-paragraph (12) of paragraph (i) thereof in the column headed “Afternoon” and opposite “5th Day” the words “Modern Language”;

 

(b)inserting in the table in the form headed “A.M. Form K.4 (a)” the following column under the heading “5th Day” and next after the sub-column therein headed “Morning”:—

(c) inserting in the table headed “Summary of Subjects and Allotment of Marks” and immediately after:—
