Royal Commission (Police Service) Regulation 1997 (NSW)

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Royal Commission (Police Service) Act 1994.

1Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Royal Commission (Police Service) Regulation 1997.

2Definition

In this Regulation:

the Act means the Royal Commission (Police Service) Act 1994.

3Prescribed authority: sec 30 (4) (d)

For the purposes of section 30 (4) (d) of the Act, the Special Commission of Inquiry appointed under the Special Commissions of Inquiry Act 1983 by the commission issued by the Governor by letters patent under the Public Seal on 26 September 1997 is a prescribed authority.
