Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to change the amounts payable under a penalty notice for certain offences under the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Regulation 2013, so as to standardise those amounts across legislation that regulates conduct at certain public places.

This Regulation is made under the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Act 1980, including sections 22 (the general regulation-making power) and 22B (Penalty notices).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Amendment

(Penalty Notice Offences) Regulation 2019.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
