(PRESCRIBED OFFICERS) REGULATION 1997

ERRATUM

THE Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Amendment (Prescribed Officers) Regulation 1997 which was published in the Government Gazette of 18 July 1997, Gazette No. 81 on pages 5589–5590 was published with an incorrect signature:

“PAM ALLAN, M.P., Minister for the Environment.”

this should have read

“BOB DEBUS, M.P., for the Minister for Environment.”

This regulation is now republished with the correct signature.

Explanatory note

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe certain persons employed in the Infringement Processing Bureau of the Police Service as officers by whom penalty notices may be served under section 22B of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Act 1980.

This Regulation is made under the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Act 1980, including section 22 (the general regulation making power) and section 22B.

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust

Amendment (Prescribed Officers) Regulation 1997.

2 Amendment

The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Regulation 1992 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

3 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Om Omit “and rangers”. Insert instead “, rangers and authorised IPB

officers”.

[2]       Clause 19B (2)

Insert at the end of clause 19B:

(2) In this clause, authorised IPB officer means a person who is employed in the Infringement Processing Bureau of the Police Service and is authorised by the Commissioner of Police for the purposes of Regulation 130A of the Motor Traffic Regulations 1935.
