ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY (AMEND

MENT) ACT.

Act No. 5, 1947.

An Act to make further provision in relation to George vi.

certain land vested in the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales as trustees under the Public Trusts Act, 1897; for this purpose to amend the Royal Agricultural Society Act, 1911, and certain other Acts; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 28th March, 1947.]

T )E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, i j by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—^

1. ( f ) This Act may bo cited as the “ Eoyal short title

Agricultural Societj" (Amendment) Act, 1 9 4 7 .”	citation
(2) The Eoyal Agricultural Society Act, 1911, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Eoyal Agricultural Society Act, 1911-1947.

(a) (i) by inserting in section throe after the words Sec.3.

(ii)  by inserting at the end of the same section the following new subsection:—

(2) As from the commencement of the Eoyal Agricultural Society (Amendment) Act, 1947, the estate in fee-simple of the Eoyal Agricultural Society of New South Wales as trustees of the land described in Part Three of the Schedule to this Act shall

Mo. 5, 1947. cease and determine, and such land shall, subject to the conditions hereinafter in this Act contained, vest in the Eoyal Agricul­ tural Society of New South Wales for an estate in fee-simple, and any dedication of such land or any part thereof for public recreation and show ground or for show ground (addition) or for any other purpose is hereby revoked.

All that piece or parcel of land containing an area of 2 acres 3 roods 22 perches or thereabouts situated in the City of Sydney, parish of Alexandria, county of Cumber­ land, being allotments 16 to 24 both inclusive and 28 of Section 111 and closed roads COMMENCIXG on the North Western side of Cook Eoad at the North Eastern corner of 1 acre 1 rood -1 perch vested in the Eoyal Agri­ cultural Society of New South Wales under the Eoyal Agricultural Society Act 1911, and shown on plan cata­ logued Ms. 3281 Sy. at the Department of Lands Sydney and bounded thence on the South East by Cook Eoad bearing 22 degrees 113 feet 2 inches to Furber Lane on the North East and again on the South East by Furber Lane bearing 337 degrees 7 feet | inch 292 degrees 211 feet 2 | inches 313 degrees 17 minutes 21 feet inches 37 degrees 8 minutes 140 feet 9 inches and thence 28 degrees 31 minutes 251 feet inches to another lane
