Rottnest Island Amendment Regulations 2001
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations may be cited as the Rottnest Island
Amendment Regulations 2001.2. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Rottnest Island

3. Regulation 19 amended
Regulation 19 is amended in the definition of "mooring inspection report" by deleting "an approved mooring contractor" and inserting instead —
" a mooring contractor "
4. Regulation 22 amended
Regulation 22(4)(d) is amended by deleting "satisfactory".
5. Regulation 25 amended
Regulation 25(2)(d) is amended by inserting after "mooring inspection report" the following —

6. Regulation 28A inserted
After regulation 28 the following regulation is inserted -
28A. Authority may reject mooring inspection report (1) The Authority may reject a mooring inspection report
provided to the Authority by any person under these
regulations, and require that person to provide another
mooring inspection report.(2) A mooring inspection report that is rejected by the
Authority is to be taken not to have been provided to
the Authority for the purposes of these regulations.7. Regulation 48 amended
(1) Regulation 48(2) is amended by deleting the definition of "give
way".(2) After regulation 48(2) the following subregulation is inserted 44
(3) The requirement to give way takes effect in the
circumstances described in regulation 7 of the Road
Traffic Code 2000 and is to be complied with as
described in that regulation.8. Regulation 59 amended
(1) Regulation 59(2) is amended by inserting after "possession" the
following -
or discharge an explosive device, ".
(2) After regulation 59(3) the following subregulation is inserted - "
(3a) In subregulation (2) -
"explosive device" includes a marine flare.
9. Schedule 1 amended
Form 2 in Schedule 1 is repealed and the following form is inserted instead -
