(AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 38, 1966.

An Act to extend certain provisions of the Roman

Catholic Church Trust Property Act, 1936-1960, ”'_ L

relating to Crown grants of land for or for the use

benefit or purposes of the Roman Catholic Church

in New South Wales; for this purpose to amend

that Act; and for purposes connected therewith.

1             Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

Short title 1.

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Roman Catholic (2) The Roman Catholic Church Trust Property Act, 1936, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Roman Catholic Church Trust Property Act, 1936-1966.

Amendment	2. The Roman Catholic Church Trust Property Act,
of Act No.

24, 1936. 1936-1960, is amended—

Sec. 14. (a) by omitting from section fourteen the words of this Act, for or for the use. benefit or purposes of the Church” and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “to which this section applies” ;

(Validation	“granted by the Crown before the commencement
of grants.)

(b)	by omitting from the same section the words “this Act” where secondly occurring and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “the Roman Catholic Church Trust Property (Amendment) Act, 1966” ;
(c)	by inserting at the end of the same section the following new subsections ; —

(2) Section twenty-five of the Crown Lands Consolidation Act, 1913, as amended by subsequent Acts, shall not apply to any land to which this sec­ tion applies or to any land which, if it had been granted by the Crown, would be land to which this section applies.

(3) In this section—

“land to which this section applies” means any

land—

(a) granted by the Crown before or after the commencement of the Roman Catholic Church Trust Property (Amendment) Act, 1966, for or for the use benefit or purposes of the Church; and

(b)

Financial Agreement (Decimal Currency) Act.
