ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH PROPERTY

TRUST.

No. 17 of 1961.

An Ordinance to amend the Roman Catholic Church

Property Trust Ordinance 1937-1938.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Roman short title

Catholic Church Property Trust Ordinance 1961.*	and citation.
(2.) The Roman Catholic Church Property Trust Ordinance 1937-1938t is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordi- nance, may be cited as the Roman Catholic Church Property Trust Ordinance 1937-1961.

3. Section two of the Principal Ordinance is amended—	Definitions.
(a)	by omitting the definition of " Bishop " and inserting

in its stead the following definition:—

" ' Bishop ' means the person for the time being
administering the Archdiocese of

Canberra and Goulburn whether as

Archbishop, Coadjutor Archbishop,

Coadjutor Bishop, Auxiliary Bishop, Vicar Capitular or Administrator;"; and

(b) by omitting the definition of "Diocese" and
inserting in its stead the following definition:—

" ' Diocese' means the Archdiocese of

Canberra and Goulburn;".

4. Section four of the Principal Ordinance is amended by Trustees to be

omitting from sub-section (2.) the words "Diocese of corporate. of Canberra and Goulburn ".

Alteration of	5.—(1.) The Registrar of Titles shall make such entries,
Register Book
and certificates	cancellations and corrections as he considers necessary by
of title.	reason of the amendments made by this Ordinance—

(a) on each instrument, and on each endorsement on an instrument, in the Register Book kept in pursuance of the Real Property Ordinance 1925- 1961 that relates to Church Trust Property; and

(b) on the original of such an instrument, and on each endorsement on the original of such an instru- ment, that is produced to him for the purpose.

(2.) In this section, "Church Trust Property" has the

same meaning as in the Principal Ordinance.
