E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, B by and with the advice and consent of the Legis lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— Short title. 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as “ The Roma Street to South Brisbane Railway Act of 1956.” Construc (2.) This Act shall be read as one with “ The tion. Railways Acts, 1914 to 1955.” Validation 2. All notices of resumption of, and all acts, things roefscuemrtpatiinons, and steps with respect to the taking of, any land required for the proposed railway from Roma Street to South Brisbane whereof the plans, sections and books of reference were approved by resolution of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland on the ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six (which day is herein referred to as “ the date of approval”) served, done or taken by the Commissioner for Railways before the date of approval shall be deemed to be as valid and effectual as if the date of approval were a date prior thereto and are hereby authorised, validated, ratified and confirmed accordingly.
