AN ACT for the Closure of portions of certain Roads.

[Assented to 11th December, 1930.]

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

Short title.	1.	This Act may be cited as the Roads Closure Act, 1930.
Closure of portions	2.

Those portions of Crowther and Francis streets in the northern boundary of Marine terrace, are hereby closed; all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act, and the said portions are hereby revested in His Majesty the King as of his former estate.

Closure of portion 3. That portion of North road in the Municipal District

Albany. of Albany extending from the production northward of the

eastern boundary of Sanford road to the production south- ward of the eastern boundary of Rifle Range Reserve No. 918 is hereby closed, and all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act, to the intent that the same may be acquired by the Commonwealth and be added to and form part of Defence Reserve No. 918.

boundary of Graylands street to the production north of the eastern boundary of the said location is hereby closed, and all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act, and the lands comprised in the said closed road

may be granted to the Municipality of Claremont for an estate in fee simple, and the said municipality is hereby authorised and empowered to sell the said land to the Royal Agricultural Society Incorporated for a sum not exceeding Five hundred pounds : Provided, however, that the proceeds of sale shall be applied by the said municipality in or to- wards the construction of roads within its district.

boundary of Mount street and its junction with the southern boundary of Sidney road is hereby closed to the intent that the land comprised therein may be included in a reserve for a public cemetery.
