AN ACT for the Closure of portions of certain Roads and

Ways and for other relevant purposes.

[Assented to 31st December, 1925.]

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority

of the same, as follows :—

This Act may be cited as the Roads Closure Act,

1925.

Closure of portion

of Clifton Street,

That portion of Clifton Street in the City of Perth bounded by lines starting at the South corner of Perth Lot Y288, and extending 28° 17' 4 chains 51 . 1 links ; thence 73° 17' 70 . 7 links ; thence 208° 17' 5 chains 1 link ; and thence 298° 14' 50 links to the starting point, is closed, and all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act.

That portion of Ocean Parade in the Municipality of North Fremantle lying between the production West. ward of the Southern side of John Street, and the North- Eastern boundary of North Fremantle Lot 209 and its production North-Westward, is closed, and all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act : Provided that a deviation of Ocean Parade in lieu thereof shall be provided to the Westward two chains in width.

Lot 2F, on the South by the Easterly production of the Southern boundary of the said Lot, and on the North- East by part of the South-Western boundary of the Rail- way Station Reserve, is closed, and all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act ; and such portion of the said street may be granted in fee simple to the Council of the said Municipality.

5.    That portion of East Railway Street in the Cottesloe Closure of portion

on the South-Eastern boundary of the Perth-Fremantle Railway Reserve, the said post being situated North about 60 links and West about 1 chain 93 links from the West corner of Cottesloe Suburban Lot 100, and extending 19° 35' 13 . 2 links : thence 89° 20' 70 . 8 links ; thence 179° 25' 67 links ; thence 268° 29' 96 . 1 links and 19° 45' 59 . 7 links to the starting point, is closed, and all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act.

6.    (1) That portion of Richmond Crescent in the Closure or portion

the North side of Surbiton Road, is hereby closed, and

all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing

of this Act.

(2) It shall be lawful for the Council of the said Muni- cipality to extend Angwin Street from Surbiton Road to Bolton Street by proclaiming a road, notwithstanding that the width thereof is under 66 feet.

8.    The Governor may, by proclamation, declare that rnarr of Governor
