Public Places Ordinance 1937, hereby make the following Regulations.

ROADS A N D P U B L I C PLACES R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Roads and Public Places cita«»o.

Regulations.

2. The prescribed fee for opening up, or breaking the surface of, a Fees,

public road is the fee specified in the Schedule to these Regulations

opposite to the type of surface of the public road.

THE SCHEDULE.

Regulation 2.

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

Type of road surface.

£15 or an amount calculated at the rate of £1 for each square

Concrete pavement foo+ or part of a square foot of the surface opened up or
broken, whichever is the greater
Bitumenous macadam £5 or an amount calculated at the rate of 3s. 3d. for each
pavement square foot or part of a square foot of the surface opened
up or broken, whichever is the greater
Bitumenous surfaced £5 or an amount calculated at the rate of Is. 9d. for each
pavement square foot or part of a square foot of the surface opened
up or broken, whichever is the greater

Gravel pavement

£3 or an amount calculated at the rate of Is. 3d. for each square foot or part of a square foot of the surface opened up or broken, whichever is the greater
