His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase the penalties for offences dealt with by way of a penalty notice issued under the Roads Act 1993. The increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index.

This Regulation is made under the Roads Act 1993, including sections 243 and 264 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Roads Amendment (Penalty Notice Offences) Regulation
2015.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2015 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
