ROADS ACT 1993—REGULATION

(Declaring the RTA as roads authority for certain roads)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Roads Act 1993, has been pleased to make the

Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Roads (General) Regulation 1994 is amended by inserting after

clause 79 the following clause:

Roads authority for certain public roads

79A. The RTA is declared to be the roads authority for all public roads within the area shown edged heavy black and hatched on the sheets of the plan marked “Pyrmont Ultimo Eight Rail Transit Project” and held in the head office of the RTA.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to declare the RTA to be the roads authority for the public roads within the area of the City of Sydney comprising the proposed route of the Pyrmont/UItimo light rail system. The specified area is in the vicinity of Hay Street between Elizabeth and Quay Streets.
