His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1997.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to alter certain fees payable for services provided by the Roads and Traffic Authority under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1997. This Regulation also repeals a provision that ceases to have effect on 1 July 2000.

This Regulation is made under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1997, including sections 14 (the general regulation-making power) and 15 (Regulations to establish registration system) and, in particular, section 15 (2) (b) and (f).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration)

Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2000.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2000.

3 Amendment of Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Regulation 1998

The Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Regulation 1998 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.
