His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1997.

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Regulation 1998 as a consequence of the enactment of the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1998.

This Regulation is made under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act
1997, including section 14 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration)

Amendment (Driver Licensing) Regulation 1999.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on l March 1999.

The Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Regulation 1998 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

(Clause 3)

Omit “to suspend an exemption from holding a licence referred to in
section 21 ( l ) (c) of that Act” from clause 2 (2).
Insert instead “referred to in section 2 1 (1) of that Act”.
