1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Amendment Regulation 2016 (No 3).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 2000.

4. Section 102, definition of digital camera detection device, new paragraph (e)

   insert

   (e)VITRONIC PoliScan FM1 that includes, as a component, a laser speed measuring device.

5. Section 102, definition of laser speed measuring device, new paragraph (h)

   insert

   (h)VITRONIC PoliScan FM1.

6. Section 105 (4)

   substitute

   (4)However, subsection (3) (a) (ii) and (iii) do not apply in relation to the operation of—

   (a)a VITRONIC PoliScan SPEED M1 HP device; or

   (b)a VITRONIC PoliScan FM1 device.
