Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to replace a reference to the Division of Analytical Laboratories, ICPMR, Health Reform Transitional Organisation Western with NSW Forensic & Analytical Science Service to reflect a change of name.

This Regulation is made under the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999, including sections 18, 18D, 18E, 23, 24B, 27 and 71 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Amendment (NSW Forensic & Analytical Science Service) Regulation 2013.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 1999

Clause 129 Analysis of oral fluid, blood and urine samples— prescribed laboratory

Omit “Division of Analytical Laboratories, ICPMR, Health Reform

Transitional Organisation Western”.

Insert instead “NSW Forensic & Analytical Science Service”.
