His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase the fees payable under the Road

Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999 in relation to:

(a)	the issue of a log book, and
(b)	the registration of an applicant as a participant in the Transitional Fatigue Management Scheme (TFMS) for heavy truck drivers and the employers of heavy truck drivers, and
(c)	the issue of a replacement driver certification manual.

This Regulation is made under the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999, including section 71 (the general regulation-making power, and, in particular, section 71 (11)) and clause 9 of Schedule 1.

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) (Driver Fatigue) Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2000.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2000.

3 Amendment of Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) (Driver Fatigue) Regulation 1999

The Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) (Driver

Fatigue) Regulation 1999 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

4 Note

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.
