Road Transport (General) Act 1999

1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Road Transport (Offences) Amendment Regulation 2018 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Road Transport (Offences) Regulation 2005.

4. Section 22 (4), definition of excluded public holiday, paragraph (b)

   substitute

   (b)Reconciliation Day;

5. Section 22 (4), definition of Family and Community Day

   omit

6. Section 22 (4), new definition of Reconciliation Day

   insert

   Reconciliation Day—see the Holidays Act 1958, section 3 (1) (a) (ix).
