Road Transport Legislation Amendment Regulation 2012 (No 1)

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following regulation under the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1999, the Road Transport (General) Act 1999, the Road Transport (Mass, Dimensions and Loading) Act 2009, the Road Transport (Public Passenger Services) Act 2001, the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999 and the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1999.

Part 1Preliminary
Name of regulation
This regulation is the Road Transport Legislation Amendment Regulation 2012 (No 1).
Commencement
This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.
NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

This regulation amends the following legislation:

Tracked vehicle—Act, dict, def vehicle, par (b)
(1)Any tracked vehicle that is not used exclusively on a railway or tramway is prescribed.
(2)In this section:
tracked vehicle means a vehicle that moves on wheels inside endless tracks.
