Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Road Transport (Heavy Vehicles Registration Charges) Act 1995.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to vary the annual registration charges payable under Part 2 of the Road Transport (Heavy Vehicles Registration Charges) Act 1995. The new charges are the same as those calculated in accordance with the procedures approved, and subject to the parameters set, by the Australian Transport Council under the Agreement referred to in the National Transport Commission Act 2003 of the Commonwealth.
This Regulation is made under the Road Transport (Heavy Vehicles Registration Charges)
Act 1995, including sections 9 and 38 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Road Transport (Heavy Vehicles Registration
Charges) Amendment Regulation 2005.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2005.
3 Amendment of Road Transport (Heavy Vehicles Registration Charges) Regulation 2001
The Road Transport (Heavy Vehicles Registration Charges) Regulation
2001 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The charge for a load carrying trailer, converter dolly or low loader dolly is $334 multiplied by the number of axles of the trailer or dolly.
