Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to revise the area of operations of the University of Wollongong for the purposes of the Road Transport (General) Regulation 2013, including by adding the Bega and Shoalhaven campuses. The University is a declared organisation and thus a parking authority under that Regulation and is empowered to establish and operate parking schemes for any road within its area of operations.

This Regulation is made under the Road Transport Act 2013, including sections 23 (the general statutory rule-making power) and 24 and clause 6 of Schedule 1 (which provides for the making of statutory rules for or with respect to parking).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Road Transport (General) Amendment (Parking at University of Wollongong) Regulation 2015.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Omit the matter relating to the University of Wollongong from Columns 1 and 2 of the table.

Insert instead:
