ROAD TRANSPORT (DRIVER LICENSING) ACT 1998 NO 99—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 27 November 1998 as the day on which Schedule 2 to that Act, and section 36 of that Act in its application to that Schedule. commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1998 that make changes relating to certain penalties and disqualifications, and create a new offence, under the Traffic Act 1909.
