Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards) Amendment

Regulations (No. 3) 2006

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards)
Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2006.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2006.

3.           The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
(Vehicle Standards) Regulations 2002*.

4.            Regulation 25 amended

(1) Regulation 25(5) is amended by deleting paragraph (a) and

"and" after it and inserting instead -

"

(a) if the period is-

(i)     12 months - $25; or

(ii)    36 months - $50;

and

(2) Regulation 25(6) is amended by deleting paragraph (a) and

"and" after it and inserting instead -

"

(a) $25; and

5.            Regulation 30 amended

Regulation 30(4) is repealed and the following subregulation is inserted instead -

"

(4) The fee payable for the issue of a class 2 permit is -

(a)	if the permit is for 12 months - $25: or
(b)	if the permit is for 36 months - $50.

6.            Regulation 34 amended

Regulation 34(4) is amended by deleting paragraph (a) and
"and" after it and inserting instead

"

(a) if the permit is for -

(i)	12 months - $25; or
(ii)	36 months - $50;

and
