Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards) Amendment

Regulations (No. 2) 2012

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards)
Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2012.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards)
Regulations 2002.

4.             Glossary amended

In the Glossary clause 1(1) in the definition of emergency
vehicle paragraph (b):

(a) delete subparagraph (iii) and insert:

(iii)      the department of the Public Service principally assisting in the administration of the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998,

(b) delete “that Authority” and insert:

that department
