Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards) Amendment

Regulations 2011

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards)
Amendment Regulations 2011.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards)
Regulations 2002.

4.             Regulation 18 amended

Delete regulation 18(1)(a) and insert:

(a) by weighing the vehicle or part of the vehicle on —

(i) National Measurement Act 1960

a public weighbridge, as defined in the mentioned in a public weighbridge licence in force under Part XI of that Act; or

(ii)      a weighbridge as defined in section 3(1) of that Act, other than a public weighbridge, that is verified under that Act;

or
