ROAD TRAFFIC (VEHICLE STANDARDS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1994

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Vehicle Standards)

Amendment Regulations 1994.

(a) there shall be attached to the bicycle a lighted front light showing an unbroken white light that is clearly
visible at a distance of 200 metres from the front of
the bicycle; and

Regulation 3007 repealed and a regulation substituted

3.     Regulation 3007 of the principal regulations is repealed and the

following regulation is substituted —

3007. (1) Where a bicycle is being ridden during the hours of
darkness —

(b) there shall be attached to the bicycle or its rider a

lighted rear light showing —

(i)       an unbroken red light; or

(ii)      a red light that flashes regularly at the rate of not less than 60 per minute,
