Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Miscellaneous) Variation Regulations 2014.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 2 March 2014.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

4—Variation of Schedule 9—Expiation fees

1. Schedule 9, Part 3, item relating to rule 128A—delete "128A" and substitute:

   128A(1)

2. Schedule 9, Part 3, items relating to rules 163(1) and 164(1)—delete the items and substitute:

163(1)	Driving past rear of stopped tram at tram stop	$384
164(1)	Failing to stop when tram stops at tram stop	$384
164A(1)	Failing to stay stopped if tram stops alongside at tram stop	$384

1. Schedule 9, Part 3, items relating to rules 227(2) and 227(3)—delete the items and substitute:

227(2)	Failing to use portable warning triangles in accordance with rule—vehicle stopped or fallen load where speed limit is 80 kph or more	$93
227(3)	Failing to use portable warning triangles in accordance with rule—vehicle stopped or fallen load where speed limit is less than 80 kph	$93

1. Schedule 9, Part 3, items relating to rules 232(3) and 232(4)—delete the items

2. Schedule 9, Part 3, item relating to rule 264(1)—after "wear" insert:

   approved

3. Schedule 9, Part 3, item relating to rule 265(1)—after "wear" insert:

   approved

4. Schedule 9, Part 3, item relating to rule 265(3)—after "wearing" insert:

   approved
