Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Miscellaneous) (Drink and Drug Driving No 2) Variation Regulations 2018.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 24 April 2018.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

4—Variation of Schedule 4—Expiation of offences

Schedule 4, Part 2, table—after the item relating to section 47BA(1) insert:

47BA(1a) Engaging in conduct involving motor vehicle that constitutes offence against section 47BA(1) while child under age of 16 years is present in or on that motor vehicle $600

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
