ROAD TRAFFIC (LICENSING) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (NO. 6) 1995

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.    These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Licensing)

Amendment Regulations (No. 6) 1995.

Regulation 25 amended

2. Regulation 25 (1) (d) of the Road Traffic (Licensing) Regulations 1975* is amended by deleting "whether or not the film or cover is transparent and whether or not, in the case of a cover, it is manufactured as a number plate cover." and substituting the following —

(4

unless it is a transparent film or cover that —

(i)       is of a type approved by the Board as being non-reflective;

(ii)     bears the name of its manufacturer and its serial or other identification number in a conspicuous place, but not so as

to obscure the characters on the identification tablet or
number plate; and

is kept clean, in good condition and free from discoloration,

(iii)    heavy scratching and any marking other than those

referred to in subparagraph (ii). P/
