Road Traffic (Licensing) Amendment

Regulations (No. 5) 2001

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Licensing)
Amendment Regulations (No. 5) 2001.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2001.

3.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
(Licensing) Regulations 1975* .

4.            Regulation 21A amended

Regulation 21A(1) is amended after the definition of "load capacity" by inserting the following definitions —

issued by the Department of Social

"seniors' card" means a seniors' card issued by the

Office of Seniors' Interests in this State;

"seniors' health card" means a Commonwealth

seniors' health card, issued by the Department of
Social Security of the Commonwealth;

5.            Regulation 21P amended

Regulation 21P(1)(b) is deleted and the following paragraph is inserted instead —

(b) is owned by a person who holds —

(i) a current pensioner concession card

Security, or the Department of Veteran's

Affairs, of the Commonwealth; or

(ii) both a seniors' card and a seniors'

health card.
