Road Traffic (Licensing) Amendment

Regulations (No. 2) 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Licensing) Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — when the Road Traffic Code Amendment Regulations 2013 come into operation.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Licensing)
Regulations 1975.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) insert in alphabetical order:

electric personal transporter has the meaning given in

the Road Traffic Code 2000 regulation 3(1);

electric personal transporter use area has the meaning
given in the Road Traffic Code 2000 regulation 3(1);

5.             Regulation 3AA amended

In regulation 3AA(2):

(a) in paragraph (d) delete “cycle.” and insert:

cycle; or

(b)	after paragraph (d) insert:
(e) an electric personal transporter that cannot travel at a speed exceeding 10 km/h being used in an electric personal transporter use area.
