Road Traffic (Licensing) Amendment

Regulations 2000

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Licensing)
Amendment Regulations 2000.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
(Licensing) Regulations 1975* .

3.            Regulation 3B amended

Regulation 3B is amended as follows:

(a) in subregulation (1) after "(2a)" by inserting —

(b) after subregulation (2a) by inserting the following

subregulation —

(2b) Subject to subregulation (2a), the fee for —

(a)	an initial examination of a heavy vehicle is that set out in Schedule 2 item 3A; and
(b)	a re-examination of a heavy vehicle is that set out in Schedule 2 item 3B.

4.            Schedule 2 amended

Schedule 2 is amended as follows:

(a) in item 2 in the column headed "Service" —

(i)     by deleting subitem (a); and

(ii)      in subitem (c) before "in the case" by inserting —

" subject to items 3, 3A, and 3B,

in item 2 in the column headed "Fee" by deleting
"65.55";

after item 3 by inserting the following items —

3B(2b)(a) An initial examination by the
Director General of a heavy
vehicle (i.e. a vehicle with an
MRC exceeding 4 500 kilograms) 91.00

3B. 3B(2b)(b) A re-examination by the Director General of a heavy vehicle (i.e. a vehicle with an MRC exceeding 4 500 kilograms) 66.00
