ROAD TRAFFIC (INFRINGEMENTS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (No. 6)

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Infringements) Amend-

ment Regulations (No. 6) 1990.

Principal regulations
2. In these regulations the Road Traffic (Infringements) Regulations 1975* are
referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 5 repealed

3. Regulation 5 of the principal regulations is repealed.

Regulations 6 and 7 repealed
and regulations substituted
4. Regulations 6 and 7 of the principal regulations are repealed and the

following regulations are substituted—

Offence of altering infringement notice

schedule is substituted—

" 6. A person who, not being a member of the Police Force, makes any alteration to an infringement notice, other than by printing on the notice his motor driver's licence number or date of birth where indicated on the form of notice, commits an offence.

Penalty: $100. Prescribed forms 7. (1) The prescribed form of the traffic infringement notice referred to in

section 102 (1) of the Act is—

(a) except in a case to which paragraph (b) applies, the form set out

in Form 1 in the Second Schedule;

(b)	where, under section 102 (3a) of the Act, the notice is to be given
to, and served on, the owner of the vehicle concerned, the form set out in Form 2 in the Second Schedule.

(2) The prescribed form of the notice for withdrawing a traffic infringe- ment notice under section 102 (5) of the Act is the form set out in Form 3 in the Second Schedule. ".
