Road Traffic (Infringements) Amendment

Regulations 2011

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Infringements)
Amendment Regulations 2011.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Road Traffic Amendment (Alcohol and Drug Related Offences) Act 2011 Part 2 comes into operation.

3.           Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Infringements)
Regulations 1975.

By Command of the Governor, R. KENNEDY, Clerk of the Executive Council.

4.            Schedule 1 amended

Delete Schedule 1 items 9 and 9A and insert:

9. Section 64AA A first offence of driving or attempting
to drive a motor vehicle while having a
blood alcohol content of or above
0.05 g of alcohol per 100 mL of blood 5
