ROAD TRAFFIC (FEES FOR VEHICLE LICENCES)

REGULATIONS (No. 2) 1998

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Fees for Vehicle Licences) Regulations

Commencement

2.   These regulations come into operation on 3 July 1998.

Specified day: section 28A
3. For the purposes of section 28A of the Act, the specified day in relation to these

regulations is 2 August 1998.

Road Traffic Act 1974 amended

4.   The amendments in these regulations are to Part III of Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic

Act 1974*.

Second Schedule amended

5.   (1) Division 1 is amended by inserting after the item designation "1." the subitem

designation "(1)".

(2) Division 2 is amended by deleting item 5 and inserting the following item instead —

Caravan (trailer type), fork lift truck, mobile crane, plant trailer, tow
motor, tractor (other than prime mover type) or tractor plant
5. For a caravan (trailer type), fork lift truck, mobile crane, plant trailer, tow
motor, tractor (other than prime mover type) or tractor plant the fee is $3.00

per 100 kg or part thereof of tare weight.
