These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Drivers'

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in
Executive Council.1. Citation

These regulations come into operation on 5 February 2002.
3. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
(Drivers' Licences) Regulations 1975*.[* Reprinted as at 18 February 2000. For amendments to 27 November 2001 see 2000 Index to

29 June 2001.]4. Regulation 2 amended
Regulation 2 is amended by deleting the full stop after the definition of "seniors' health card" and inserting instead a semicolon.
5. Regulation 4E amended
(1) Regulation 4E(1) is amended by deleting "Except as provided in
subregulation (3), an" and inserting instead —" An ". (2) Regulation 4E(3) is repealed. 6. Schedule 11 amended
Schedule 11 is amended by inserting after item 5 —

First test under regulation 4E( 1)(b) in respect of a driver's licence application

7. Each additional test under regulation 4E(1)(b) in
respect of a driver's licence application 14.50
7. Transitional
Regulation 4E(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Drivers 'Licences)
Regulations 1975 does not apply to a person —
(a) who had reached the age of 16 years on 4 February 2001; and (b) who holds a learner's permit issued before the day on which these regulations come into operation.
