Road Traffic (Drivers' Licences) Amendment

Regulations (No. 4) 2000

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.           Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Drivers'
Licences) Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2000.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 December 2000.

3.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
(Drivers' Licences) Regulations 1975*.

4.            Regulation 10 amended

(1)	Regulation 10(1) is amended by deleting "The" and inserting instead —

In addition to the offences described in

subregulation (2), the 11

(a) by deleting the heading "Road Traffic Code 1975 regulation —";

(2) Regulation 10(2) is repealed and the following subregulation is
inserted instead —

(2) Further offences are prescribed for the purposes of

section 103 of the Act in the Road Traffic Code 2000,
and points recorded against a person convicted of an
offence under the Road Traffic Code 2000 are to be
counted when determining the number of points
recorded against a person under regulation 11.

5.            Second Schedule amended

The Second Schedule is amended as follows:

(b) by deleting items 4 to 85 (inclusive).
