ROAD TRAFFIC (DRIVERS' LICENCES) AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS (No. 4) 1997

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Drivers' Licences) Amendment

Regulations (No. 4) 1997.

Regulation 4 amended

2.    Regulation 4 (6) of the Road Traffic (Drivers' Licences) Regulations 1975* is repealed

and the following subregulation is substituted —

(6) An applicant for a licence to drive a Class T vehicle shall be the holder of a

driver's licence —

(a)

that is appropriate to the class, other than Class T, to which the vehicle being, or to be, operated as a taxi belongs; and

(b) that is not issued on probation.
